EAPS 2025 Simulation Competition: A New Frontier in Pediatric Care
We are thrilled to introduce the first-ever EAPS Simulation Competition, set to take place on Sunday, 19 October 2025, from 14:30 to 17:30. This exciting new addition to the EAPS Congress will feature a hands-on, team-based challenge where participants will tackle real-time pediatric simulation scenarios. It’s the perfect blend of collaboration, skill-building, and cutting-edge technology in a competitive setting.
Please note that the deadline to apply for participation is 8 September 2025.
About the Simulation Competition
The EAPS Simulation Competition invites healthcare professionals to demonstrate their clinical expertise and teamwork in resolving pediatric patient care scenarios. The competition will consist of four teams, each combining nurses and doctors. The teams will be tasked with completing a series of complex, high-stakes scenarios using an advanced paediatric simulator.
Each team will compete to resolve their assigned simulation scenario, with those achieving the best results advancing to the final round. The final teams will face off against one another, tackling a more intricate and challenging scenario. All members of the winning team will receive free tickets for the EAPS 2025 Networking Dinner.
Why You Shouldn’t Miss It
The EAPS Simulation Competition is an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills, challenge yourself in a realistic, high-pressure environment, and collaborate with peers from around the world. You may even win a prize: All members of the winning team will receive free tickets for the EAPS 2025 Networking Dinner!
Even if you’re not part of the competition, we invite all Congress participants to watch the competition live. It’s a rare opportunity to see paediatric care simulated in real-time, gain insights into emergency response strategies, and learn from the clinical scenarios presented. The competition will also be a great opportunity to cheer on the teams and support their efforts as they work through the challenges.
Whether you’re competing or spectating, this event promises valuable learning experiences and the chance to see paediatric care in action with the most advanced simulation technology available.
